Payment
Unless other arrangements have been made, a minimum 30% deposit is required with your gun for work to begin. Custom grips and gripframes must be paid for up front in addition to a deposit. Contact me for pricing on these items. Other services or parts may require up front payment also. I will contact you after receiving your order if this is needed. I accept cash, checks, USPS MO, MC, and Visa. No C.O.D.'s. All prices shown have been discounted for cash, check, or certified funds. Credit and debit card prices are 4% higher. Pricing is subject to change without notice and does not include return shipping charges. Applicable sales tax will be applied to all VA resident sales. Minimum shipping charge on parts orders is $5. All pricing is current as of 11-29-11. All accounts must be paid in full before your gun will ship. Minimum charge $65 per gun.
Ordering
Download and complete one of the order forms off the website for each gun sent in for service. Make sure gun is unloaded before shipping and scopes not needed for services are removed. Do not send loaded ammo with a gun. The best way to package your gun is in a cardboard boxed hard case. These will be returned. Changes to current orders will only be accepted by email or USPS mail. I do accept parts orders by phone.
Best ways to ship:
Long guns- USPS Priority mail or UPS
Handguns- UPS or FedEx Next day service or have a local FFL holder ship your gun via Priority mail.
I return by FedEx and USPS.
Warranty
Due to the use of handloaded ammunition, I can make no warranty, expressed or implied. Buyer assumes all liability with the purchase of these goods and services. I will do my best to correct any mechanical problems experienced within a reasonable length of time after receiving your gun at no charge. If the problem was my fault, I will pay return shipping. Customer will be responsible for shipping charges to me.
All takeoff parts become the property of Clements Custom Guns. Many of these are unavailable from the factory and are needed for other projects.
Phone calls are best accepted between 4-7pm EST M-F. Visits by appointment only.
Delivery Time
Current delivery time on most conversions as of 11-29-11 is 18-24 months. Some jobs will take longer. Small jobs are done and returned ASAP. If you contact me for an estimated turnaround time, be aware that it will be a guess. I do the best I can and you can be assured your gun will be completed as soon as I can get to it. Calling or emailing to check on the progress of your gun on a regular basis only wastes my time. Please be patient.
I reserve the right to reject any unsuitable gun. I also reserve the right to substitute parts when necessary.
